Chart - Bar/Column Views

Bar/column series views are intended to display data points as vertical bars (or columns) that are grouped by category. In this case, category labels are displayed on the X-axis, while values are represented by the length of the bars as measured by the Y-axis.

DevExpress MVC Chart supports a wide range of bar chart types (including side-by-side, stacked, full-stacked, etc.), both in 2D and 3D. You can see all of them in this demo by choosing the required view using the View Type combo-box.

Other options include:

• Show Labels. Indicates whether series labels should be visible on a chart.
• Rotated Diagram. When unchecked, data points are represented as columns. Setting this option to true will rotate a diagram, so that data points are represented as horizontal bars.
